_Urban Amendments

Urban Amendments are not radical changes but build upon an existing structure. Amending means to alter, change (for the better), or correct a situation. Amendments are therefore inherently sustainable because they do not demand the destruction or neglect of the existing but are rooted in it. The proposal is an alteration of an existing urban space or program for the better, which does not neglect its surroundings as a new utopia but generates reciprocal relationships between existing and new insertions – a ‘real’ utopia.
